Brockton’s Promise will hold the 4th Annual Mentor
Recruitment Rally, in conjunction with the City of Brockton’s
Celebration for being named one of the 100 Best Communities for Young
people on Thursday, Jan. 26th from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Shaw’s Center, 1 Feinberg Way. There is no admission, but pre-registration is required. Pre-register online at http://www.2012rally.eventbrite.com or by calling (508) 894-2516 or emailing brocktons.promise@gmail.com.
The Brockton Traffic Commission announces annual winter parking bans will begin Thursday, Dec. 1st and end Saturday, April 1st. Winter parking bans are in effect from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. daily. For more information about parking restrictions, call (508) 580-7807 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
