Public Library
The mission of the Brockton Public Library System is to provide access to information
and literature for children, students, adults, and businesses to allow them to grow
intellectually and economically.
In order to fulfill this mission effectively, the library focuses on the following
goals:
- Improve the delivery of information to the public
- Improve access to facilities for all patrons
- Increase public awareness of programs, services, and materials
- Provide access to and facilitate the use of technology to meet the informational,
educational, and recreational needs of our patrons
- Provide educational opportunities to library patrons to facilitate the use of library
technology
- Increase financial support for its facilities, collections and services
