The Information Technology Center provides services to a wide variety of city government departments and organizations. Since the information and business transactions of a city the size of Brockton requires sophisticated computer and data handling, we are constantly working on ways to improve. We are more than a technology provider; we are also a business process planning and implementation center. We do our best to help make every department's job a little easier, so they can focus on how they use information, and spend less energy and time in how they collect information. A major example is this web site. It is being developed to help use information from anywhere you have access to the Internet. As the City's Web site grows and evolves to be more interactive we hope it will make working with the city as easy as possible.

We are responsible for supporting the administrative information technology systems throughout the city, including the Brockton I-NET (Comcast/Brockton Broadband Fiber network). We also assist in the support of technology for the Brockton Public Schools. The ITC is always looking for ways to improve our systems. Please don't hesitate to contact us with your ideas.
