Volunteers needed to flag graves for Memorial Day

 

The Office of Veterans’ Services is seeking volunteers to help place American flags on the graves of deceased veterans at cemeteries in Brockton in observance of Memorial Day.

 

Volunteers will flag graves at 13 cemeteries throughout the city beginning Monday, May 14th.

Brockton Community Schools Advisory Board

seeks new members

 

The Brockton Community Schools Advisory Board, in compliance with its bylaws, is presently seeking applications from Brockton residents for one At-Large position. The selected candidate will serve a two-year term.  The Advisory Board, which is the governing arm of the Community Schools Program, meets monthly and makes its recommendations to the Brockton School Committee.

Any person interested in serving on the Board should send a letter of application and resume to:
